While extremists tried to brand No Kings as "Hate America Rallies"-–they couldn't have been more wrong. Flags were flying and peaceful messages of love and patriotism were the theme of the day. Much to the dismay of those trying to tear us apart, the real power in this country is citizens coming together. Join historian and author Heather Cox Richardson as we talk about how Americans can take back patriotism in this moment–including by voting and getting our friends to vote in the elections happening nationwide on Tuesday, November 4th.

Join RootsAction and the Texas chapter of Taxpayers Against Genocide (TAG) for a webinar detailing TAG’s historic complaint filed against the United States federal government. This complaint has been submitted to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights as a step towards solidifying evidence for holding the US accountable for its complicity in genocide at the International Criminal Court.

Save the date for a special online conversation with Corinna Barrett Lain, author of Secrets Of The Killing State, and Alan Johnson, longtime Columbus Dispatch reporter who witnessed more than 15 executions in Ohio!

Together they will connect the law and their lived experience for a rare, timely look at the realities of the death penalty in Ohio and Indiana and what comes next.

Israel’s aggression has expanded across the region — from Lebanon and Yemen to Qatar — culminating in an unprovoked 12-day war with Iran that killed thousands of Iranian civilians in violation of international law. Now more than ever, we must hold the U.S. government accountable for giving Israel a “blank check” without oversight or conditions. Israel’s actions against Iran, and its apparent willingness to escalate further by threatening additional attacks, risk prolonging instability and conflict throughout the Middle East. Speakers: Negeen Mosaed, Hanieh Jodat, Erik Sperling, Dr.
