Join us for a monthly social/political dinner, where we write to legislators or voters, or plot and plan more events, about issues we care about!

We meet in Canal Winchester with activists and volunteers from around central Ohio on the third Tuesday each month. We are a community of people who still believe strongly in democracy and the goal of social justice.

As the founding owner of Leaves for Wildlife and Leaves of Life, Patty’s journey is deeply rooted in her love for natural health, nature, and gardening—and fueled by a lifelong passion for creating thriving wildlife habitats. She founded the nursery as both a sanctuary and a learning space, inviting visitors to discover the beauty and importance of native plants. With a background in natural medicine, Patty brings a holistic perspective to her work, guided by the belief that human health and environmental health are inseparable.

This is the next workshop in the HCFAO Equity Committee’s Listen, Learn, Empower series addressing healthcare and health disparities for traditionally marginalized communities. In Revitalization and Repair: Addressing American Indian Health Disparities we will pursue a holistic understanding of health in Native American communities on the individual and community level.

An estimated 479,000 Palestinian children have been killed in Gaza. Furthermore, 90% of school building and 100% of Gaza’s 12 universities have been destroyed.  Through reading these names, we honor their memory and affirm their humanity.  Your voice is important.  Both adults and children are encouraged to read, listen, and remember.
