National Teach-in Call: The United States’ Accountability for Palestine - Tax Payers Against Genocide

Join RootsAction and the Texas chapter of Taxpayers Against Genocide (TAG) for a webinar detailing TAG’s historic complaint filed against the United States federal government. This complaint has been submitted to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights as a step towards solidifying evidence for holding the US accountable for its complicity in genocide at the International Criminal Court.

Speakers will include Huwaida Arraf, renowned Palestinian-American human rights attorney, lead attorney on the complaint submitted to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), and co-founder of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition; Dr. Robert Smith, citizen of the Chickasaw Nation, ordained Christian minister and assistant professor of history with a focus on religion, politics, and race with a longtime engagement in the Palestinian cause; Maria Kari, member of Mahmoud Khalil’s legal team, co-counsel on the IACHR complaint, and executive director of Project TAHA; and Hadil El Wahidy, Palestinian-American business owner, community leader, and activist who has lost more than 100 family members to the genocide in Gaza.
