We will gather at the Supreme Court of Ohio Justice Fountain, 65 S. Front St., and then march to Columbus City Hall, 90 W. Broad St.

Join people diverse in faith, race, economic/social status, and ethnicity to:

• Call on all eligible voters to participate in the General Election on Tuesday, November 3. Voter education and registration will be available, and representatives from various local organizations will share information on absentee voting.

Sunday, August 30, 1-3pm, Ohio Statehouse

Police officers in Kenosha, Wisconsin shot Jacob Blake seven times in the back for no reason, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. Since then, an armed right-wing militia member murdered two protesters and injured another.

Join us at a rally in solidarity with protesters, community members, and workers in Kenosha, Wisconsin as we continue the fight for black lives.

Saturday, August 22, 12noon-1pm, intersection of N. High St. and North Broadway

You and your friends are invited to support National Nurses United “Day of National Support for Improved Medicare for All” at hundreds of sites across the country, this coming Saturday, August 22, 12noon-1pm.

In Columbus, we will gather at the intersection of N. High St. and North Broadway, to wave and show our signs of support for Medicare for All. Parking will be available at Kroger and at nearby churches. A mask and social distancing will be required.

The National Day of Freedom and Justice Rally has been scheduled for Saturday, August 22, at 12noon, at the Ohio statehouse.

There will be unified ringing of bells at 1pm in every state to signify that We The People are standing in solidarity for Freedom and Constitutional Rights of the entire incarcerated population in the United States.

Remember those who are in prison as though you are in prison with them. [Hebrews 13:3]

Grab a mask and join us at Goodale Park for a peaceful rally to support Black Lives Matter, Black liberation, justice, and the valuing of black lives. We will rally in the park with passionate speakers and march to allow our voices to be heard.

Join COOR [Central Ohio Organized Resistance], Our Revolution Central Ohio, and Columbus Socialist Alternative at the Ohio Statehouse to call for the resignation of Larry Householder, the repeal of H.B. 6, getting big money and corruption out of politics, and using our tax dollars towards initiatives that benefit our communities!

The protests may have calmed down, but the movement isn’t over. It has been almost 150 days since Breonna Taylor’s death, and she and countless others have still not received justice. It is time to move from individual protests to collective action.
