Protest/Rally

Saturday, March 27, 1pm, Amazon Hub Locker+ (Columbus), 2114 N. High St.

Join us in showing solidarity with workers in Bessemer, Alabama, who are organizing to form a union. They are up against a massive anti-union campaign that is being pushed by Amazon.

Let’s go all out to support winning a union in Alabama, and to laying the groundwork for unionizing Amazon workplaces everywhere!

Hosted by Columbus Socialist Alternative.

Saturday, March 20, 1pm, 641 E. Kossuth St.

A developer is trying to build several expensive homes in the South Orchards neighborhood, ranging from $250,000-$350,000, on land where a community garden currently sits.

On top of taking away valued community green space, expensive developments like this lead to gentrification through increased housing costs on current residents. To make matters worse, the developer announced that he would be applying for tax abatements — meaning that any benefits from these homes, like increased funding towards schools, would be lost.

Saturday, March 20, 10am, this on-line event requires advance registration

Starting on January 20, as Biden takes office, we are letting him know:

The “Vote Trump Out” campaign always had a second part to it — “Then Challenge Biden.” We are now fulfilling that commitment by organizing throughout the United States for a truly progressive agenda. You’re invited to join with RootsAction and Our Revolution Ohio to push back against the destructive forces of corporate power, racial injustice, extreme income inequality, environmental assault, and the military-industrial complex.
