Back by popular demand, join Alwiyah from Ohio Voice as she teaches you about a foundational idea for community organizing! “Social Movement Ecology” lays a framework for organizations with different theories of change to recognize each other’s strengths and weaknesses and work together to produce large-scale social change. This training will provide participants with the skills, tools, and confidence to identify complex layers of approaches in social movement.

It’s time to abolish Ohio’s death penalty once and for all. To keep the conversation and momentum up this summer, we’re hosting a book club in furtherance of the #NoDeathPenaltyOH campaign — and this story hits very close to home.

Please join us for our annual Summer Picnic, one of the largest events that HCCO hosts all year!

We have a shelter reserved and plenty of tables! Feel free to bring family and friends! This will be the perfect opportunity to meet others, to make new friends, and to have fun at a laid-back summer gathering!

Every Saturday, we will have fresh harvested produce, grown right here in Franklinton, for sale for our neighbors!

Any neighbor who needs it gets 50% off. Anyone on food assistance (SNAP/EBT) gets 75% off. We have delicious seasonal veggies, herbs, and flowers.

Come on by and take a look at the Patrick Kaufman Memorial Learning Garden. Our education coordinator will be running Open Garden Hours from 1pm to 4pm.
