“Summer Book Club: Good Kids, Bad City,” hosted by ACLU of Ohio, Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center, and Ohioans to Stop Executions

Tuesday, August 17, 6:30-7:30pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

It’s time to abolish Ohio’s death penalty once and for all. To keep the conversation and momentum up this summer, we’re hosting a book club in furtherance of the #NoDeathPenaltyOH campaign — and this story hits very close to home.

From award-winning investigative journalist Kyle Swenson, “Good Kids, Bad City” is the true story of the longest wrongful imprisonment in the United States to end in exoneration, and a critical social and political history of Cleveland, the city that convicted them.

This is the second of two meetings, the first [that had been held 7-20-2021] covered Chapters 1-6 of the book; this meeting will be a review of the book in total [through the conclusion of the story].

Hosted by ACLU of Ohio, Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center, and Ohioans to Stop Executions.
