Community

Tuesday, January 7, 7-10pm, Pierogi Mountain, 105 N. Grant Ave.

Join us for our DSA happy hour! We will be meeting on the first Tuesday of each month. This will be an informal get together to meet, hang out, talk shop, and enjoy the camaraderie! Non-members are welcome to join and learn more about the chapter.

Hosted by Columbus DSA [Democratic Socialists of America].

Sunday, January 5, 5:30-6:30pm, Old First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Bryden Rd.

A twenty-to-thirty-minute silent meditation will be followed by discussion and refreshments.

The benefits of meditation are innumerable. These include greater mental clarity, a reduction in stress, improved emotional balance, and increased spiritual development. Meditation benefits everyone.

Different meditation practices will be presented, throughout the year, by practitioners of those traditions.

Enter the church via the rear door.

This group will meet each Sunday, 5:30-6:30pm.

Saturday, January 4, 11am-1pm, Hidden Leaf Cafe, 181 E. Innis Ave.

Join us to check out the hottest and newest Columbus vegan restaurant. It’s anime inspired, so bring your costume if you’d like!
