Come help us feed hungry people in Central Ohio at the Flying Spaghetti Monster Benefit Dinner. The event features a spaghetti dinner, bake sale, silent auction, raffle and entertainment to raise money and collect food donations for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Adult dinner $10; $5 for youngsters ages 14 and under (cash/check). Carry-out will also be available.

The Accessible Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC) advises the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) on matters pertaining to accessible transportation. Members include customers and people in the community who advocate for those with disabilities. ATAC meets monthly and twice a year with COTA leadership.

Simply Living will hold its ninth annual fundraiser on October 23 at the Boat House restaurant at Confluence Park in downtown Columbus. More than 300 people are expected to enjoy a complimentary luncheon in the beautiful setting where the Scioto and Olentangy rivers are joined.

Doors open at 11:30am before the lunch; the program will be from 12 noon to 1pm.
