Join CAIR-Columbus and CAIR-Florida Deputy Director Nezar Hamze for this Crisis Response Training which will focus on:

• Responding to active shooter situations

• Home, mosque, and school safety

• Reacting to hate crimes and harassment

• Understanding how to work with law enforcement while protecting community civil rights

• Combating violence through community-led efforts

Friday, December 1, 6-9pm, Nationwide Children’s Hospital [Baxter Auditorium], 700 Children’s Dr.

You are invited to join us as we remember those who have passed due to AIDS-related complications and to acknowledge and celebrate the lives of those living with HIV.

Performances will include song, dance, spoken word, poetry, and art. Community leaders will proudly join us in this important day of recognition.

Join us for the first event in our upcoming Speak Up and Be Heard Series!

We’ll meet on the first and second Thursdays of each month to make our voices heard. The first Thursday will be a Speak Up Social, where we’ll make creative messages about a current issue for Congressman Stivers. The second Thursday will be a Be Heard Office Visit, where we’ll deliver those messages to Congressman Stivers’ office in person.
