Save the date! Join Simply Living for our annual Open House!

Stop in for conversation, networking, and holiday cheer with our Simply Living community. All are welcome!

Consider participating in our “bring one, take one” gift book-recycle table. Bring a book to give or trade. Somehow, there are always extras even if you had arrived empty-handed!

This event is free but please register at the below link.

Thursday, December 14, 5:30-7pm, Chadwick Arboretum, northeast of the OSU Agricultural Administration Building, 2120 Fyffe Rd.

Don’t miss this annual Winter favorite! We hope that you can join us for this much-loved yearly event.

Chadwick Arboretum director Mary Maloney will give a brief overview, at 6pm, of the labyrinth as a meditative tool; we will follow with a walk on the labyrinth; we will then roast chestnuts, drink hot chocolate, and eat s’mores.

Sunday, December 10, 5-7pm, Broad St. Presbyterian Church, 760 E. Broad St.

Please join us for our second annual prayer gathering and potluck. This interfaith event celebrates the diversity of the Central Ohio Community. This year’s theme will focus on “Welcoming the Stranger: With Our Heads, Hearts, and Hands.” Please bring a favorite dish [with ingredients listed on an index card] to share at the potluck that will immediately follow the service.

Please RSVP to office@iaco.org by December 8.

Thursday, December 7, 6:45-9:45pm, Wild Goose Creative, 2491 Summit St.

Join Speak Easy at Wild Goose Creative for “True Stories, Told Live,” “I Don’t Belong Here: Stories of Black Sheep, Oddballs, and Misfits.”

As always, feel free to be creative with the theme in a 5-10-minute story. Notes are OK, but we prefer stories that are told rather than read so that we can keep that “groovy storytelling vibe” between the teller and the audience. Trust us, you’ll tell that story just fine.
