The Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run is a fun way to get out, get moving, and raise funds and awareness to cure America’s #1 cause of disability. In communities nationwide, this annual event brings together people from all walks of life to shout “Yes, we will live life to its fullest while searching for a cure!”

World AIDS Day takes place on December 1 each year and provides an opportunity for people, worldwide, to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first-ever global health day.

TransOhio will hold its annual Transgender Day of Remembrance on Tuesday, November 20 at King Ave. United Methodist Church to honor and lift up the victims of violence against the transgender and gender non-binary/non-conforming community, both across the U.S. and around the world, during 2018.

The doors will open at 6:30pm; the program will begin at 7pm.

Child care will be provided; light refreshments will be offered afterwards.

The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative, and joyous circle dances that celebrate the variety of spiritual paths on Earth. If you like folk dancing, you’ll be right at home here. No previous experience is needed — just an open and willing attitude. Participation, not presentation, is the focus.

Come help us feed hungry people in Central Ohio at the Seventh Annual Flying Spaghetti Monster Benefit Dinner. This event will feature a spaghetti dinner, a bake sale, a silent auction, a raffle, and entertainment to raise money and collect food donations for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.

Adult dinner is $10; $5 for children ages 14 and under. Cash and checks will be accepted; carry-out will also be available.

Based on the popular “hUmAn connection” Facebook series, Equal UA and the Upper Arlington Public Library invite you to come and walk in someone else’s shoes for a morning. This moderated panel discussion will spotlight the challenges, victories, stories, and personal journeys of Upper Arlington residents from all walks of life. Join us for this interactive conversation with the goal of promoting an inclusive climate within our community.

This is our Ninth Annual Southside Community Ministries [SSCM] Food Pantry Benefit Concert.

Come to King Avenue 5 at 8pm on November 1 for a wonderful night of music. It’s a “Pass the Hat” event and every dollar donated provides $8 of food to Columbus, Ohio southside families in need.
