Free Resource Fridays is our monthly free resource giveaway, hosted on the last Friday of every month! Meet us at Community Grounds from 4pm to 6pm and grab some resources, harm reduction supplies, clothes, hygiene products, and food!! We have plenty so please feel free to pick up items for loved ones in need. If you can’t make this time, hit us up for porch/door drop-offs!

On March 24, 1997, the Ohio Supreme Court issued its first DeRolph v. State of Ohio decision and ruled that Ohio’s system of public school funding is unconstitutional. Twenty-five years later, public education advocates are still at work trying to secure funding legislation that makes a high-quality education possible in every community.

Join the Civil Liberties Defense Center on Thursday, March 24, 6-8pm, to learn about supporting movement participants through incarceration, release, and transition back home from people who have lived it. Former political prisoners will share their experiences of support as well as how they continue to support people held behind the walls.

Panelists will include Daniel McGowan, Michael “Rattler” Markus, and Luke O’Donovan, plus others to be announced.
