Are you a resident of the Near East Side? Share your lived experience with engaged researchers at The Ohio State University. We will be conducting four engaging co-design workshops for you to share your thoughts on transportation, accessibility, public health, and so much more!

We are calling all AIDS Service Organizations (ASOs) and health care providers to join us in exploring alternative ways to engage and serve those living with HIV. In particular, we will discuss how the principle of “Nothing About Us Without Us” can be employed to have a positive impact on individuals, communities, and health outcomes.

Join Institute Lead Trainer Ramona Peel (she/her) for this free webinar as we kick off Non-Binary Awareness Week!

Ramona will talk about:

• Labels and their meaning under the non-binary umbrella

• Distinctions between non-binary and trans identities

• Gender bias and discrimination

• How to create a more inclusive and affirming environment

There will also be a live “question-and-answer” period with Ramona to conclude the session.

• Local truck Chilljoy will be serving frozen treats at Moeller Park

The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called “Going to HCCO” and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.

The recent 616, 454, 327, and 151 house bills are targeted attacks on the physical and political autonomy of queer youth and youth of color. They exemplify the current reactionary-conservative wave within the political establishment; the same wave that resulted in the repeal of Roe v. Wade and the funneling of millions into police budgets.

Voting blue is not enough; come join us in the fight for liberation!

Our July Franklinton Friday will feature a special “Work In Progress” exhibition from the artists of 400 West Rich and Chromedge in the Promenade Gallery!
