“Putting ‘Nothing About Us Without Us’ into action,” hosted by Ohio Health Modernization Movement

We are calling all AIDS Service Organizations (ASOs) and health care providers to join us in exploring alternative ways to engage and serve those living with HIV. In particular, we will discuss how the principle of “Nothing About Us Without Us” can be employed to have a positive impact on individuals, communities, and health outcomes.

This panel discussion will focus on how unintended stigma and discrimination from ASOs negatively impact individuals, communities, and health outcomes, often leading to direct conflict with the ASOs’ missions to educate and create health outcomes.
