The Patient Empowerment Series is back! Presented collaboratively by Equitas Health Institute and Stonewall Columbus, this series is intended to uplift intersectional lived experiences in relation to engaging with healthcare. For the latest iteration of the series, we welcome you to join our panelists as they share stories from their lived experiences of navigating healthcare and queer and disabled community spaces.

Stand in solidarity with Cuba at our upcoming “Cuba Night” with IFCO [Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization] and Pastors for Peace!

On Wednesday May 24, 7-10pm, we’ll be coming together at The Citadel to raise funds to send medical supplies to Cuba this summer!

Catch speakers coming back from their recent brigades discuss Cuba’s successes and socialism, the genocidal blockade imposed by the U.S., their healthcare system, and more. We’ll have games, prizes, raffles, and cultural activities.

The Columbus Karma Thegsum Chöling was established in 1977 by Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche as a center of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Since that time — for more than 40 years — they have worked to be a beacon of the Buddha’s teachings in Central Ohio.

The Mission of the Columbus Karma Thegsum Chöling is to provide, for all levels of practitioners, a respectful and open community for the study, practice, and activities of Buddhism of the Karma Kagyu tradition.
