We have an exciting event happening soon that you don’t want to miss!

Join us on Instagram Live for our end-of-the-year “Justice for Impacted Farmers” livestream fundraiser with Fred Stone and Representative Lori Gramlich! PFAS-impacted farmers have experienced life-changing consequences due to PFAS contamination and it’s time that we say enough is enough.

Tuesday, December 12, 2pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

In her new book, Climate Resilience for an Aging Nation, community resilience and housing expert Danielle Arigoni argues that we cannot achieve true resilience until communities adopt interventions that work to meet the needs of their oldest residents.

Join this America Walks webinar for a discussion on how to integrate age-friendly resilience into community planning and disaster preparedness efforts.

Sunday, December 10, 3pm, El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant, 3230 Olentangy River Rd.

What do you get if you add together 2/5 of the beloved local Americana group Halfway Home, 3/4 of the wonderful band Whinestopper, and 3/4 of Bill Cohen and the Harmonettes?

Well, you get the lineup of veteran Columbus musicians who will be in the spotlight Sunday afternoon, December 10, 3-5pm, as the Columbus Folk Music Society presents an entertaining and fun fund-raising concert at El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant, 3230 Olentangy River Rd.

Sunday, December 10, beginning at 6:30pm, Columbus Commons, 160 S. High St.

Yay Bikes!, Outdoor Pursuits, and the Central Ohio Bicycle Dealers invite you to the Joy Ride!

The ride will be a casual-paced, ten-mile-long route that begins at Columbus Commons (meet across from the parking garage). We will explore the Scioto Mile, ride through the Short North, stop at St. Joseph Cathedral to see the nativity scene, ride past Franklin Park, and ride back to Columbus Commons. We will make plenty of stops for picture taking and for some hot chocolate!

Sunday, December 10, 2pm, Old First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Bryden Rd.

This event will be a public reading of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

In 1948, the global politic invoked a global aspiration to universal standards for nation-states and articulated the rights of non-state entities.
