Union of Concerned Scientists Defense of Science in an Era of Authoritarianism

The Union of Concerned Scientists invites you to a virtual event featuring updates on our efforts to fight back against the Trump administration's authoritarian siege on science and democracy, while staying on offense with a proactive, pro-science agenda at the state-level and federally with bipartisan allies in Congress.

UCS experts from the Federal Response Team will discuss strategic work carried out during the Summer recess, how UCS is continuing to track and push back on impacts of the “Big Billionaire Budget” bill passed by Congress in July, and how we're responding to intensifying authoritarian attacks on science during the first 10 months of the second Trump administration.
