Toxic Chemicals in our Homes and All Around

Did you know that less than 200 of the approximately 80,000 chemicals on the market have been tested for effects on human health? Learn how you can protect your family and shop for safer products! Melanie Houston of the Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) will facilitate this interactive workshop and provide information on specific chemicals of concern, ways to reduce your family’s exposure and information on how you can get involved in an effort to strengthen laws on toxic chemicals.
