Special September Documentary Double Feature: “How America Killed My Mother” and “American Mayor”

Sunday, September 21, 7pm, Drexel Theatre, 2254 E. Main St.

The Drexel Theatre will host a double feature of two short documentaries, “How America Killed My Mother” and “American Mayor”; stick around after the screenings for a post-film question-and-answer with director Travis Irvine.

This screening will serve as a tribute to Travis Irvine’s mother and also as a way to highlight the virtues of running for office in addition to our country’s inadequate healthcare system.

Each documentary is under 40 minutes; there will be a panel in between the films that will feature Bexley City Councilman Alex Silverman and Rachel Coyle of “How Things Work at The Statehouse” that will be moderated by local media personality Tim Fulton.
