Showing Up for Racial Justice [SURJ] Columbus Public Monthly Meeting

Thursday, February 2, 6-8pm, Driving Park Branch Library, 1422 E. Livingston Ave.

Join us for our monthly public meeting. SURJ is a multi-racial group organizing white people for racial justice. Through community organizing, mobilizing, and education, SURJ moves white people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for racial justice.

This month’s meeting will include a participatory workshop entitled “Finding Your Personal Path to Resistance.” Every movement needs people in different roles that fit and capitalize on their strengths; this training will invite participants to reflect on the skills, knowledge, and connections you bring to the table and how you can use those to amplify movements and resistance.

All races, ethnicities, genders, ages welcome! Please bring snacks to share if you’re inclined.
