“Rainmaker Blues Trio,” hosted by Columbus Folk Music Society

Saturday, August 3, 3pm, The Reeb Center, 280 Reeb Ave.

Rainmaker Blues Trio has that “old-school” blues sound of the 50s and 60s, when rural blues music was evolving, with influences including big-band swing, piano blues, amplification, jazz, soul, and even country music. Featured are John Henry’s original blues and ballads that reflect his life experiences as well as a wide range of songs from this classic era of American music.

Rainmaker Blues Trio will be performing at a Columbus Folk Music Society (CFMS) Community Concert at The Reeb Center, 280 Reeb Ave., on Saturday, August 3. Refreshments will be served at 2pm, followed by an open mic and community singalong at 2:30pm. Rainmaker Blues Trio will take the stage at 3pm. Come join us!

Schedule:
