Join our Rush-Hour Resistance Rally outside the Chalmers Wylie VA Clinic to protest the cuts to the VA and support veterans!

This huge facility, serving veterans from a wide area, is on James Road just south of the Columbus Airport. Thousands of cars pass this location during rush hour every weekday afternoon, making this the perfect place to inform people about the crippling cuts that Trump, Musk and DOGE are making to our federal government.

Join us every Saturday as we stand at the corner of High Street and North Broadway and protest the destruction and degradation of the Trump administration. Indivisible Central Ohio.

Saturday, October 18, 4-5:30pm, Ohio Statehouse

 “No thrones. No crowns. No kings.”

Central Ohio is coming together for “No Kings” rallies all across the region on Saturday, October 18. Events will be held at different times starting Saturday morning and going through early afternoon. All the local events will culminate in a massive downtown rally at 4pm.

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.

Weekly. Support veterans: Protect the VA! Join our Rush-Hour Resistance Rally outside the Chalmers Wylie VA Clinic to protest the cuts to the VA and support veterans! We will be demonstrating on public sidewalks on both sides of James Road, which are highly visible to commuters passing by. To eliminate any possibility of getting in the way of patients or staff at the clinic, we are asking everyone to avoid using the VA lot to the east of James Road. Instead, please park west of James Road.

Concerned about proposed cuts to Social Security services? Appalled by the abduction and renditioning of legal immigrants? Outraged by the theft of our private information? Generally dumbfounded by the chaotic combination of evil and incompetence coming from the White House? Make up a sign and let people know! The intersection is surrounded by the public Village Green Park on all four sides, giving us lots of room to hold signs protesting the ongoing destruction of our democracy by the Trump/DOGE administration.

Senators Bernie Moreno and John Husted are supporting the fascist takeover of our democracy. Let's hold them accountable to the people and taxpayers of Ohio.

Their offices are both at 200 N High St, with lots of public visibility!

With the #TrumpShutdown, federal workers across the country and here at the Columbus Veterans Affairs Medical Center. While VA workers are still getting paid, we know many federal workers are not. And we also know the Trump Administration wants to use this Shutdown to layoff tens of thousands of federal workers.

Monday, October 6 – Friday, October 10, 2025.  

Join Students for Justice in Palestine throughout the week as we commemorate 2 years of genocide and 2 years of resistance, as we continue to recommit ourselves to the struggle for Palestinian liberation. Programming throughout the week will be interactive. We encourage everyone to bring friends and join us. We will be wrapping up the week on Friday with a vigil to commemorate our martyrs.

The Old First Presbyterian Church will hold Moral Monday prayers in the Ohio Statehouse Rotunda. "Moral Mondays" gatherings are regularly held in the Ohio Statehouse by the Ohio Poor People's Campaign and its allies. These monthly events are part of a national movement for moral revival.
