From Protest to Politics: 2016 Candidates’ Forum

Please join us for our 2016 candidates’ forum! We have partnered with Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and have invited the candidates for Franklin County Prosecutor to answer questions about the issues that matter most to people in our community.

Across the country, more and more people in our communities have realized the power that county prosecutors hold. The power to hold police accountable, the power not to charge youth as adults, the power to decriminalize non-violent offenses, to divert people suffering from addiction and human trafficking out of jail and into treatment. In Cleveland, Chicago and cities across the country, people have stood up and demanded better from their elected officials.

Let’s join together and tell our vision for what good prosecution looks like. Join us in asking for policies that respect all human life, keep communities safer and keep families together.
