“Newspaper Research for a Fuller Family History,” hosted by Ohio History Connection

What family history information can you find in newspapers? In this online workshop with Jen Cabiya, Digital Projects Coordinator for the Ohio History Connection, learn about birth, death and marriage announcements as well as gossip columns, fashion trends, legal news, and religious life. We’ll discuss how to locate niche topics like these in newspaper repositories like “Ohio Memory” and the Library of Congress’ “Chronicling America.”

Registration for this event will require a $20.00 payment if you are a member of the Ohio History Connection and a $25.00 payment if you are not a member.
