Columbus International Children’s Choir Concert

Sunday, March 8, 4pm, Martin de Porres Center, 2330 Airport Dr.

Enjoy a musical reflection with a concert from the Columbus International Children’s Choir on Sunday, March 8 at 4pm. This internationally-known choir exposes its members to different cultures and musical styles while promoting self-confidence and responsibility. Several ensembles, representing various age groups, will perform.

This event is free and open to the public though donations for the choir will be accepted.

Eleventh Annual Valentine Benefit Concert: Songs Tell the Ups and Downs of Love

Friday, February 7, 7:30-9:30pm, Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Ave.

Serious love songs and a humorous trivia quiz will highlight a Valentines concert by Bill Cohen and friends at the Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Ave. The show runs from 7:30pm to 9:30pm on Friday, February 7.

With guitar and piano, Bill will sing favorites from the 1950s through the 1970s that have been made famous by John Denver, the Everly Brothers, Sam Cooke, Bette Midler, James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, the Eagles, the Beatles, Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis, Tom Waits, and others.
