• Understanding the school-to-prison pipeline

• Treatment of youth as adults in the criminal (in)justice system

• Efforts to counter the criminalization of youth of color

Minnesota State Representative Ilhan Omar, the first Somali-American Muslim woman in the United States to be elected to a state legislature, will discuss November’s U.S. elections and their implications when she speaks on March 21 at Ohio Wesleyan University.
