The monthly meeting of the local affiliate of the national Move to Amend organization that is calling for a U.S. Constitutional amendment to reverse several U.S. Supreme Court decisions during the past century and thereby to firmly establish that corporations are not people and that money is not free speech. Republicans in Congress, with the support of President Trump, are working to “repeal and replace” the Affordable Care Act (ACA) with their American Health Care Act (AHCA). Their plan is devastating: 24 million Americans would lose their health insurance, allowing discrimination based on pre-existing conditions, and punishing people who can’t maintain continuous coverage.

We will explore what happens in the body and the brain, from conception to maturity, related to sex, gender, and sexual identities. Research is finding biological events and chemical influences that shape gender differentiation even post-conception and into old age.
