This event will be an in-person workshop where we will be talking about making our diets more sustainable and connecting with other members of the community here in Columbus. If you have ever wondered about the difference between “natural” and “organic” or how to consume food in a way that’s good for you and good for the planet but need help making the change, this is the event for you.

The Accessible Transportation Advisory Committee [ATAC] meets quarterly and advises the Central Ohio Transit Authority [COTA] on matters pertaining to accessible transportation. Members include customers and people in the community who advocate for those with disabilities.

The monthly meeting of the local affiliate of the national Move to Amend organization that is calling for a U.S. Constitutional amendment to reverse several U.S. Supreme Court decisions during the past century and thereby to firmly establish that corporations are not people and that money is not free speech. Find out what can be done locally to restore democracy! Bring a brown bag lunch.

Have you attended a protest, assembly, or other demonstration? Do you plan to use your right to peacefully dissent? Know your rights! Join us for a robust discussion about protest rights, civil disobedience, and the right to dissent, led by our staff attorney, Elizabeth Bonham. Peaceful assembly is vital to a thriving democracy, and always remember — dissent is patriotic!

This event is free and open to the public and will be held at the ACLU of Ohio, 1108 City Park Ave., Ste. 203.
