The Equitas Health Institute for LGBTQ Health Equity is hosting the 2017 Transforming Care: LGBTQ & HIV/AIDS Health Equity conference, October 19-20, at The Ohio State University Fawcett Center. Activists, academics, community members, and health and social service professionals are encouraged to attend this two-day conference that addresses health disparities that affect the LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS community.

The monthly meeting of the local affiliate of the national Move to Amend organization that is calling for a U.S. Constitutional amendment to reverse several U.S. Supreme Court decisions during the past century and thereby to firmly establish that corporations are not people and that money is not free speech. Find out what can be done locally to restore democracy! Bring a brown bag lunch.

The Columbus Area Region of SPAN [Single Payer Action Network] Ohio will meet on Monday, October 2, 7-8:30pm, at the Northside Branch Library in Meeting Room 3. This library is located at 1423 N. High St. several blocks south of the OSU campus and just north of King Ave. There is free parking. This library is on the High St. [#2] COTA bus line. All are invited; bring a friend.
