Join the City of Columbus and United Way of Central Ohio for the Tenth Annual Neighborhood Best Practices Conference. This year’s conference theme is the “Power of US: Opening Doors to Create a Safe and Civil Community.”

People living with epilepsy, their caregivers and friends, along with professionals in the field of neurology are encouraged to attend this all-day seminar focusing on the latest treatments and trends in epilepsy. A variety of sessions will be offered by leading professionals in the field; you don’t want to miss this conference!

Admission is $10 for the Symposium only or $40 for the Symposium and CEUs.

Imprisoning a Generation is a documentary film following the stories of four young Palestinians who have been detained and imprisoned under the Israeli military and political systems. Their perspectives, along with the voices of their families, combine to form a lens into the entangled structures of oppression that expand well beyond the prison walls. Discussion on what we can do will follow the screening.

Ohio S.B. 33 is a bill that criminalizes dissent. It is an attempt by the Gas and Oil Industry to intimidate the people of Ohio from exercising their right to disagree with government policies. The policies in question have been written by industry lobbyists and heavily influenced by corporate campaign contributions and dark money.
