2020 TBI [Traumatic Brain Injury] Summit: “Living Well With Chronic Brain Injury Across a Lifespan”

TBI crosses all segments of society and all demographic groups with far-reaching, life-long implications and, therefore, is properly called a chronic disease. Optimal treatment takes a long-term view in order to prevent avoidable complications and promote a quality of life and healthfulness at every age.

2020 Ohio Green Party Presidential Nominating Convention

Saturday, February 29, 9am-5pm, Northwood-High Building, 2231 N. High St.

Ohio Greens will host a panel of the Green Party 2020 presidential candidates. After the presentation, Ohio registered Greens will pledge their seven delegate votes to winning candidates who then will compete at the Green Party National Convention, to be held Thursday, July 9, in Detroit, Michigan.

The public is welcome.

Move to Amend monthly update meeting

Saturday, February 15, 12noon-2pm, First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd.

The monthly meeting of the local affiliate of the national Move to Amend organization that is calling for a U.S. Constitutional amendment to reverse several U.S. Supreme Court decisions during the past century and thereby to firmly establish that corporations are not people and that money is not free speech. Find out what can be done locally to restore democracy! Bring a brown bag lunch.

This month, the Franklin County Greens will be planning their role as host for the 2020 Ohio Green Party Presidential Nominating Convention that will be held Saturday, February 29, 9am-5pm, at the Northwood-High Building, 2231 N. High St.
