Join us for our monthly public meeting. SURJ is a group of white people organizing white people for racial justice. Through community organizing, mobilizing, and education, SURJ moves white people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for racial justice.

The monthly meeting of the local affiliate of the national Move to Amend organization that is calling for a U.S. Constitutional amendment to reverse several U.S. Supreme Court decisions during the past century and thereby to firmly establish that corporations are not people and that money is not free speech. Find out what can be done locally to restore democracy! Bring a brown bag lunch.

What is at the heart of a human? What does Humanism celebrate, at its core? As the blinding notions of the past and the physical constraints of the present are cut away by science, technology, and reason, what will remain?

Join three Ohio Showing Up for Racial Justice [SURJ] chapters, and two national SURJ staff people, for a training on direct action, organizational building and deep canvassing!  The training will be led by Erin Heaney, the National Organizer for SURJ, and Z! Haukeness, the Midwest Regional Resource person for SURJ.
