The purpose of this forum is to talk about the services offered by the Columbus Chapter of The Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR], to discuss the challenges faced by American Muslims, and to provide timely information about the effect of recent Executive Orders on the Muslim and immigrant communities and about how we can work together to stay engaged and fight back!

Hosted by the OSU Center for Ethics and Human Values, “Non-Ideal Climate Justice: Global Inequality, the Paris Agreement, and the Limits of the Feasible” will feature panel discussions on how we should reconcile what has been feasible to achieve to address climate change at the global level with what many think would be a just and fair solution.

As we all work to make sense of the Executive Orders on immigration and their confusing implementation, this program may be of interest.

OSU College of Law Dean and OSU Law Professor Alan C. Michaels will moderate; OSU Law Professors David S. Bloomfield, Ruth Colker, Mohamed S. Helal, and Peter M. Shane will speak in a panel-style conversation on President Trump’s recent executive orders on immigration.

Columbus City Council President Zach Klein will moderate a panel of experts to discuss and explore the potential impact of an Affordable Care Act (ACA) repeal.

This forum gives residents the opportunity to hear from experts in the Columbus healthcare industry about what could be next for their organizations and the ACA, ask questions, and voice concerns about a potential repeal.
