Mary Magdalene Celebration

Saturday, July 27, 7pm, Just North United Church of Christ, 2040 W. Henderson Rd.

This year, Dances of Universal Peace will be joining us and will be providing opportunities for the congregation to sing and dance to beautiful music. Rev. Joanna Samuelson will be our worship leader. This service, honoring Mary Magdalene, will include a reading, a sermonette, Holy Communion/Anointing, and a visual meditation interspersed with music, dance, and song.

A tribute to “These Are The Women We Come From,” featuring photos of our female relatives and ancestors, will be a highlight of the service.

Light refreshments will be served following the service; a free-will offering to cover expenses will be requested.
