“Living with Epilepsy Conference,” hosted by Epilepsy Alliance Ohio

Saturday, November 2, 8am-3:15pm, Blackwell Inn and Pfahl Conference Center, 2110 Tuttle Park Place

People living with epilepsy, their caregivers and friends, along with professionals in the field of neurology, are encouraged to attend this all-day seminar focusing on the latest treatments and trends in epilepsy. A variety of sessions will be offered by leading professionals in the field, this conference you don’t want to miss!

Our keynote speaker this year will be Miles Levin, a film maker with epilepsy, who produced the award-winning short film, “Under the Lights.” He will be sharing his film, discussing his own epilepsy journey, and interacting in a Q&A interview.

Additionally, there will be presentations and discussions that will focus on quality of life, anti-seizure medications, other effects of neuromodulation, self-management techniques, employment and driving, and caregiver burnout and resources. Our speakers include providers from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Ohio Health, and the Mount Carmel hospital system. Please join us as we discuss these important topics and continue to build our community of support and resources. Finally, we will congratulate this year’s recipient of the Linda Daffen Award, an award that is presented to an EEG technician who has displayed excellent care.
