KickButtColumbus! A Highway Ramp Cleanup Event

Saturday, March 19, 9:30am-2pm, beginning and ending at Westgate Park Shelter House, 455 S. Westgate Ave.

Cigarette butts are litter too! Did you know that cigarette butts are the most littered item in America?

A cigarette butt dropped to the ground may seem insignificant but follow that butt as it’s carried off by rain into storm drains and eventually to streams and rivers.

Join KickButtColumbus, a City of Columbus Community Improvement Partnership created to raise awareness and remove blighted conditions from our city’s highway exit and entry ramps.

Participants will assemble at the Westgate Park Shelter House for refreshments and a brief program, will collect cigarette litter at their assigned freeway ramps, and then will return to the Westgate Park Shelter House for an “after-party” with pizza and refreshments.

All supplies and equipment will be provided by Keep Columbus Beautiful.

Organized by the City of Columbus Keep Columbus Beautiful Program.
