Franklin County Voting Machine Demonstration with Disability Rights Ohio

Wednesday, August 7, 5-7pm, Franklin County Board of Elections Voting Lab, 1700 Morse Rd.

Franklin County has new voting machines, and we’re inviting you to come and check them out!

At this event, staff from the Franklin County Board of Elections will demonstrate the machines, with an emphasis on their accessibility features. They will also explain the remote absentee ballot marking tool, which launched in November 2018 and allows people who are blind or have print disabilities to mark their absentee ballot privately and independently. Finally, Disability Rights Ohio will discuss voting rights for people with disabilities and provide information about our voter hotline.
