We have two Colorado guests joining us:

• Jessika Shipley, Staff Director for both the Congressional and Legislative Redistricting Commissions in Colorado; and

• Amanda Gonzalez, formerly Executive Director of Common Cause Colorado, now the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder.

Between these two experts we will have a complete view of how the amendment creating the independent commissions was crafted and passed, the setup and workings of the commission, the maps and legal challenges, and the outcome for the people of Colorado. It should be a fascinating conversation!
