“Evidence, Dialogue, Action: A framework for strengthening faith’s HIV response,” hosted by Ohio Health Modernization Movement

Tuesday, June 15, 12noon, this on-line event requires advance registration

Stigma didn’t just arrive yesterday, and it won’t just go away today or even tomorrow. It requires sustained engagement. The Framework for Dialogue is a tool for engaging Faith Leaders and People Living with HIV in an ongoing process of dialogue that leads to joint actions.

The United Church of Christ [UCC] is implementing the Framework for Dialogue in the U.S. It uses stigma research, such as the People Living with HIV Stigma Index, as a centerpiece for the dialogue, and centers the lived experience of People Living with HIV.

Panelists:

• Michael Schuenemeyer, MDiv, BA, Executive Director, United Church of Christ HIV and AIDS Network

• Arthur Butler, National Coordinator, Framework for Dialogue U.S.
