“Discrimination and the Truth behind Trauma in Our Neighborhoods”

Session Two: The Trauma Surrounding National Origin and Migration

11-11:15am: Networking opportunity and resources will be available.

11:15am-1pm: Join a panel of experts and individuals who will speak on the unique forms of trauma and discrimination that occur based on national origin. Topics that will be covered include misperceptions, forced migration, immigration status, and what you can do to help.

The audience will form small breakout sessions to discuss what they have learned and to brainstorm ways that they can make a positive difference in different spaces.

Please bring your lunch; light refreshments will be provided.

In conjunction with 2019 “Lunch and Learn” series. The June 20 “Lunch and Learn” program will focus on Religion.
