Please join us for a discussion on the evolution of the Second Amendment and how the civic religion of the United States uses / subverts Judeo-Christian teachings to exalt firearms. We will explore how the interpretation of the Second Amendment as “an individual right to bear arms” has superseded the unalienable right to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” as enumerated in the U.S. Declaration of Independence.
