Join us for our first official meeting of 2025, when our guest will be Stevie Pasamonte, Chair of Transit Columbus.

One of the bright spots of an otherwise disappointing 2024 election season was the passage of the LinkUs public transit ballot initiative. Over the next several months and years, LinkUs will strengthen existing bus service, implement Bus Rapid Transit, and add bike paths, lanes, and sidewalks throughout our community.

A twenty-to-thirty-minute silent meditation will be followed by discussion and refreshments.

The benefits of meditation are innumerable. These include greater mental clarity, a reduction in stress, improved emotional balance, and increased spiritual development. Meditation benefits everyone.

Different meditation practices will be presented, throughout the year, by practitioners of those traditions.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is strongly encouraged.

Denise Ellsworth, director of the OSU Bee Lab will present on the importance of native plants and their relationship with the pollinators and other life we depend on.

Serious and comical love songs, fun trivia questions, and delicious home-made sweets will highlight the 15th annual Valentine’s concert by Bill Cohen and friends from 7pm to 9pm on Saturday, February 1.

With guitar and piano, Bill will sing favorites, from the 1940s through the 1990s, made famous by John Denver, the Everly Brothers, Sam Cooke, James Taylor, Sting, Patti Page, and even “Weird Al” Yankovic.
