During July 2014, the Columbus network of Pastors for Peace will participate in yet another Friendshipment for Cuba. This will be the 25th caravan that the Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization/Pastors for Peace (IFCO/P4P) has sent to our friends in Cuba.

A 6pm potluck supper will be followed by the 6:45pm program.

We are fortunate to have Ms. Lisa Valanti as the speaker for this year’s public meeting. She has traveled to Cuba “well over 100 times” and has been associated with P4P for many years. We hope that you can attend.

Celebrate Liberty & Lunacy!

Off-the-wall range of mischiefs, grounded super-heroes, political debacles, homegrown satirists, and the other bohemian frolickers winding through the Short North.

Watch or march in the craziest parade in history! No entry fee; just show up!

Parade route:north on Park St. to Buttles Ave.; west on Buttles Ave. to Neil Ave.; north on Neil Ave. to W. Second Ave.; east on W. Second Ave. to N. High St.; south on N. High St. to Russell Ave. Parade ends at Russell Ave. and N. High St.

Meet at the Goodale Park Gazebo at 10:30am to get your free vegan shirt, connect with other vegans, take group photos, and eat some delicious vegan food from Banana Leaf and Loving Hut.

After the parade, cool off with a cold drink and fill up on some vegan BBQ eats at the Hal & Al’s After Party. Zach Freidhof will be rocking the house! Vegan treats will be served.
