The City of Columbus takes great pride in its observance of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Martin Luther King Breakfast Committee, Inc. invites the public to the Columbus signature King Holiday event, attended by thousands of diverse supporters and the largest event of its kind in the United States honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Monday, January 18, 8am-12noon, First AME Zion Church, 873 Bryden Rd.

Police Officers for Equal Rights invites the Central Ohio Community to attend our 21st Annual Free Community Breakfast on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

A free breakfast will be served, 8-10am. Gospel music, videos, and keynote speaker, Reverend Arthur L. Holloway II, will be in the sanctuary, 10am-12noon. The theme of the breakfast is “Is Racism Terrorism?”

The day’s events will facilitate and further the conversation about the rise of human trafficking in Ohio.

Join us for a presentation by Lucas County Juvenile Court judge Connie F. Zemmelman, a resource fair, professional panels, and a survivor’s panel.

An offering will be collected to benefit the University District Freedom School and the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center.
