• 10:15-11am: Meditation with Nick Conn [no registration or payment are required; just drop in!]

• 11am-12noon: Yoga Class with Vanessa Welch [Yoga classes are offered every Saturday at The Center for a $5 drop-in fee, which will be waived for drop-in participants on Alternative Health Day]

• 12noon-3pm: Alternative Health Expo [join us at Stonewall Columbus (upstairs) to learn more about alternative health in Central Ohio]

Join us for a community resource night revolving around Transgender Health and Wellness! General transition related information, as well as local provider information, will be available. Resource topics will include HRT [Hormone Replacement Therapy], electrolysis, legal name/gender marker, counseling services, surgical options, and more. Meet other trans and gender-non-conforming community members and have your questions about transitioning answered.

Monday, March 7, 2016, 11:30am-1:30pm, Ohio Statehouse Atrium

This event will include cultural performances from all continents, a free lunch [“Come Taste the world”], inspiring speakers, and awards.

This year’s theme: “Pledge for Global Gender Parity”

This event is free but RSVPs are required.

Organized by the Center for Somali Women’s Advancement and supported in part by a grant from the Columbus International Program.

Saturday, February 20, 12noon-3pm, Northwest Masonic Temple, 2436 W. Dublin-Granville Rd.

This year, we will announce the first annual award for Civic Engagement, in honor of Carol Fisher. Come meet our new board members and say hello to those you know! We will continue our tradition of being the “Best Potluck in Town.” This year, we will sip soup and break bread together. Desserts are also welcome.

Rides to this event will be available for those who are unable to travel independently to this location.
