The purpose of the National African American Male Wellness Walk/Run Initiative is to begin the process of helping men to understand that, through prevention, one can live longer. This event allows men and their families across the country to obtain free health screenings and to raise awareness about living a healthier lifestyle.

As the Trump administration continues pushing a destructive agenda to unravel environmental protections and to slash funding for the Environmental Protection Agency [EPA], Environment Ohio is thrilled to announce that Senator Sherrod Brown and Congresswoman Joyce Beatty have earned our Environmental Champion award for their consistent, strong and effective leadership.

Sunday, August 6, 6pm, Columbus State Community College, Center for Technology and Learning, 290 Cleveland Ave. [northeast corner of Cleveland Ave. and Mount Vernon Ave.].

Central Ohio residents will gather to commemorate the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This concert will feature original musical works by Rocco Di Pietro, Columbus State Community College Music Professor, along with Korean, Japanese, and American works, that will focus on the broken world in a quest for wholeness.
