The 2018 Columbus International Festival will continue a 63-year tradition of bringing together the diverse cultural community in Central Ohio. We are proud to present many new and exciting features such as:

• Free admission and parking

• Live cultural entertainment and fashion show

• Ethnic foods and cooking demonstrations

Come out and join us for dinner and conversation! We’ll be in the back room unless there’s a special event going on in that room.

Join Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR] Ohio for the Second Annual Muslim Day at the State Capitol!

Participants will receive training and education and will meet with their elected representatives to discuss issues affecting all Ohioans. Registration fee includes lunch, training, and materials.

Registration:

• $20 Early Bird Ticket (if purchased by August 31)

• $30 Early Bird Ticket with Statehouse Parking Garage Validation (if purchased by August 31)

Sunday, September 23; registration begins at 12noon, ceremony begins at 2pm, walk begins at 2:15pm; Huntington Park, 330 Huntington Park Ln.

Route length: 1.25 miles

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.

Saturday, September 22, 10am-3pm, Stratford Ecological Center, 3083 Liberty Rd., Delaware, Ohio

Help us celebrate the harvest at one of Stratford’s biggest events of the year! Kids of all ages can discover their inner farmer at this family-friendly event. Climb a tractor, paint your face, feed the chickens, ride a horse-drawn wagon, and hike the trails. It is a great opportunity to get the kids outside to have fun with the Stratford family!

No registration required; cost: $5 per person; $15 per family of four.

The Ohio Lesbian Festival is a not-for-profit, volunteer-driven womyn-only event designed to promote womyn’s community, music, and art. The Festival was founded on the premise that lesbians and queer womyn need opportunities and spaces to recognize and support each other, to define our culture, to find our own strengths, and to be empowered. All womyn are welcome!
