Tuesday, January 1, 2019, 9-10am, Chadwick Arboretum, 2021 Fyffe Ct.

What matters is remembering to shift from autopilot mode into direct awareness more often than never in 2019.

Bundle up and join us for a labyrinth walk to practice remembering together.

I’ll riff (briefly) on the metaphorical significance of labyrinths and provide basic instructions for a walking meditation that you can use with or without a fixed course.

Come join us as we celebrate the winter solstice. We will “break the stick” to usher in winter at 5:23pm (the official time of solstice).

The stick, once broken, will be used to make a “Sun’s Eye” here in the store. People can drop by and add their energy to the weaving of the Eye and at 7pm we will do a solstice ritual and concescate the Eye in ritual. As part of the ritual, people can tie on their wishes and blessings for the year to come.

Join us for an engaging and fun introduction to Compassionate-Nonviolent Communication (NVC), the Language of the Heart, led by Susanna Warren.

People of all experience levels, ranging from beginners to experienced practitioners, are welcome to this gathering. We will have a short explanation, a demonstration, and then we will give everyone a chance to practice giving and/or receiving empathy.
