We are proud to announce that the 11th Annual TransOhio Trans and Ally Symposium will be held the weekend of April 26-28, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio, on the campus of The Ohio State University.

Our theme this year is “Voices and Visibility.”

Based on our growth trend over the last several years, we expect over 250 participants to enjoy more than 75 workshops covering a variety of topics including:

• Medical Issues and Developments

• Healthcare and Safety

Saturday, April 20, beginning at 9am, Genoa Park, 303 W. Broad St.

Join Epilepsy Alliance Ohio as we host our third annual Run to Erase Epilepsy, a three-mile run/walk to benefit local services in our community. The event will be held at Genoa Park in downtown Columbus and features a great course, food, refreshments, music, and awards after the race. Your support of this race will help us to impact the lives of thousands of people who are living with seizures.

Peace Direct is partnering with Bluegrass Ambassadors to co-sponsor the Tomorrow’s Peacebuilders Award for Music and the Performing Arts. Tomorrow’s Peacebuilders is the global awards for innovation in local peacebuilding.

The goal: to raise $15,000.00, which will go directly to the winner to support their work of using music and the performing arts as a medium for peace and to fund their travel to Washington, DC to receive the award.

Join Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR] Columbus [CAIR-Columbus] for an Interfaith Prayer and Religious Liberty Luncheon!

Our U.S. and Ohio Constitutions guarantee religious freedom for all people. Come hear from our expert panel about issues related to religious practice, accommodation, religious discrimination, and more. The panel will also focus on issues faced particularly by religious minorities in Ohio. As these are issues of concern to all people of faith, this event will begin with an interfaith prayer.
